Aunt Claire's Jello Cake Recipe from Grandma Fay Ingredients: 1 Cake mix - yellow or lemon 1 T cooking oil (extra) mix cake according to directions on package and bake. Cool 10 min. Prick cake at 1" intervals. While cake is baking prepare two 3oz packages lemon jello in 2 cups boiling water. Let cool. Then add 1Tbsp lemon juice & 1 cup 7-up. Pour slowly and gently over cooled cake. Refrigerate 4 hours. Topping: 1 box instant lemon or vanilla pudding mix 1 1/4 cup cold milk. Beat until thick. Fold in 6-8oz whip topping. Spread on cake. Refrigerate at least 6 hours. Keep refrigerated.
