formatted for bread machine:

6 oz evap milk
2 Tbs water
2 Tbs oil
2 Tbs butter
2 Tbs honey
1 tsp salt
1 cu whole wheat flour
1 1/2 cu bread flour
2 tsp bread machine yeast
3 Tbsp cracked wheat

I modified this recipe a bit, and got it to work. This will nearly fill the bread machine, and making this in both the left and right will be enough dough for 3 large loaves.

5 oz evap milk (instead of 6, since our cans are 5)
1/4 cu water
2 Tbs oil (should try applesauce next time)
2 Tbs butter
1 1/2 Tbs honey
3/4 TB molasses (not in orig. recipe)
1/2 tsp salt (instead of 1)
1 1/3 cu bread flour
1 cu whole wheat flour
2 tsp bread machine yeast

I used to add this, but recently have chosen to omit it:
3 Tbsp wheat bran (instead of cracked wheat)
Let rise, add to pans, let rise again, bake 18 min at 375 F.
Original quantities:

1 packet yeast (.25 oz)
1/2 cu water (110 degrees) (for proofing yeast)
1 tsp sugar (for proofing yeast)

12 oz evap milk
1/4 cu melted shortening
1/4 cu water
2 tsp salt
1/4 cu honey
2 cu whole wheat flour
3 cu bread flour
2 Tbs butter
